Band From County Hell
Willy’s Wheelchair.

20 : Blackfriars Arts Centre, Boston – 06OCT07

A bsaloutley fantastic evening, I enjoyed the new songs, the new piano player and the new bass and fiddle players, they where second to none.

I've been following the band for some years now but never had the want or opportunity to catch them live – I always find it doesn't quite match up but I was wrong it surpassed all I've read and of course heard too. I have all five CDs, my favourite song should I confess to is 'Wheelchair', I s'pose relating to my predicament. Famous was a number one hit and if you guys are to release a song on its own then my money is on that one.

The audience was rather loud but very kind and I felt like I was part of the show. I am definitely coming to the Grantham Theatre in three weeks so watch out for me, my mates say I look like the guy out of Phoenix Nights.
P.S.  Please don't call me up to play your Bootstick as it would probably take the whole band to get me on the stage ha ha! I spoke to Jock in the bar at the interval and he was very pleasant I think he was having as he said the CRAIC, he called me IRONSIDE and said give us a go in your trolley or I'll burst your tyres I'm sure he was joking. He later sold me a T-shirt and said if it doesn't fit send it back and Joolz would wash it and shrink it for me but it does.

Thank you for a great night out…Willy.
