'Take that flag down!' was our greeting within minutes of us entering the venue – some arsehole who has spent 18 years in the army and obviously hadn't learnt a fkn thing about war prevention…so Mugger nearly lost the plot and the arsehole nearly lost his head, lucky enough for him he got thrown out.
People are traveling from all over the country now to see the band so the music is obviously traveling, and it was good to see the locals, Mad Dawg Dowd was in top form, Whiskey Dowd should be his new name and poor auld Hammer McKeys was in pain but he got through it.
The year is hotting up and Manchester beckons. It will be a good year and St Patrick's month of March, month of celebrating and month of music will be a well earned rest.
Never mind the b*llocks here's BFCH.
